The shipyard in Novi Be\u010dej was founded in 1959. Novi Be\u010dej is a town in Serbia in the municipality of Novi Be\u010dej in the Central Banat District. The name of the city probably derives from the name of the landed family \u201cBe\u010dei\u201c which had properties here. The first historical sources that mention the locality with this name in the 11th century refer to the dock, probably the scaffold, which existed here continuously until the end of the 20th century.<\/small><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
